A NextGen editorial … from rural PA?

Looks like this week’s AP story about NextGen has prompted some reaction in unusual places. In an editorial with the somewhat muddled title “Congress ought to streamline airline routes to save energy,” the Towanda (Pennsylvania) Daily Review newspaper issued a bold call:

Congress should move to expedite the project, which would pay for itself in a few years, while paying long-term returns in saved fuel and travel time.

In case you were wondering, Towanda (population 3,000) is located about 60 miles northwest of Scranton.
